So this article will be the typical steps I take in order to debug these type of issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kqzyfj.com\/click-101361115-15836239\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tqlkg.com\/image-101361115-15836239\" width=\"468\" height=\"60\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1- Is Dahdi running?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first thing I check is is dahdi running? I do this by typing &#8220;dahdi_cfg -v&#8221; and the output should look like it does below:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img data-dominant-color=\"090909\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #090909;\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"407\" height=\"267\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 407px) 100vw, 407px\" src=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-8-png.webp\" alt=\"dahdi\" class=\"wp-image-4700 not-transparent\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-8-png.webp 407w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-8-300x197.webp 300w\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>You do not want it to say &#8220;1 error(s) detected&#8221; as shown below:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img data-dominant-color=\"3c3b37\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #3c3b37;\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"405\" height=\"190\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 405px) 100vw, 405px\" src=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-9-png.webp\" alt=\"dahdi\" class=\"wp-image-4701 not-transparent\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-9-png.webp 405w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-9-300x141.webp 300w\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>If it does respond like above, you need to run the command &#8220;modprobe dahdi&#8221; which will bring it into a state like the first picture which is good, retest to verify with &#8220;dahdi_cfg -v&#8221;. It could also need to be recompiled if it wasnt installed properly. I will create a separate article for this later this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2 &#8211; Are the ports running?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>if the above is functioning correctly, the next step is to make sure you see the ports that are needed for websockets to be running. You can do this by typing &#8220;ss -ltnu&#8221; and you should see ports 8088 and 8089 running like in the picture below:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img data-dominant-color=\"060606\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #060606;\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"399\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" src=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-10-1024x399.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4702 not-transparent\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-10-1024x399.webp 1024w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-10-300x117.webp 300w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-10-768x299.webp 768w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-10-600x234.webp 600w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-10-png.webp 1287w\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>If the ports are showing correctly here, move on to step 3, if not it means your configuration file for web sockets is not setup correctly. However there is a couple other possible causes, such as not allowing the mic to access the agents webpage, broken headsets, expired or bad SSL certificates.
