I do things a little different when it comes to this to prepare for worst case scenario that a server may have problems and have to be taken offline, I install all services to each server, such as apache, mysql and asterisk this way if need be, they each can take on additional roles to cover for a server having to be taken out of production. Obviously this is going to assume you have ViciDial already installed on each server with all roles ready to go. To do so you can follow any one of my <a href=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/table-of-contents\/#scratch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"Scratch Installations\">articles for scratch installs<\/a> or you can just use an ISO to install of which I suggest using Vicibox v9.0.3 over V10 because of the issues with the <a href=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/how-to-fix-the-firewall-on-vicibox10\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"How to \u2013 Fix the firewall on Vicibox10\">V10 firewall<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/how-to-use-the-built-in-dynamic-portal-for-vicibox\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"How to \u2013 Use the built in Dynamic Portal for Vicibox\">dynamic portal<\/a> not working correctly, even if you do apply my fix, I find V9 to be more stable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"746\" height=\"227\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 746px) 100vw, 746px\" src=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-4.png\" alt=\"ViciDial Cluster\" class=\"wp-image-2396\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-4.png 746w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-4-600x183.png 600w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-4-300x91.png 300w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-4-500x152.png 500w\" \/><figcaption>ViciDial Cluster<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1 &#8211; Install Vicidial on each server<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As I said above, I suggest installing all services on each server and just leaving the ones not needed for each box, disabled until needed. So if you are using an ISO install instead of one of my <a href=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/table-of-contents\/#scratch\" title=\"Scratch Installs\">scratch instructions, for the purp<\/a>ose on this article, lets say <a href=\"http:\/\/download.vicidial.com\/iso\/vicibox\/server\/ViciBox_v9.x86_64-9.0.3.iso\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"ViciBox v9.0.3\">ViciBox v9.0.3<\/a>. The first thing you need to do after loading v9 is to upgrade the operating system from <a href=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/how-to-upgrade-opensuse-from-leap-15-1-to-15-2-or-15-3\/\" title=\"How to \u2013 Upgrade OpenSuSE from Leap 15.1 to 15.2 or 15.3\">Leap 15.1 to Leap 15.2 using these instructions<\/a>, because Leap 15.1 is end of life(no more updates). After that use the command, vicibox-install and choose Y(yes) for the options shown in the picture below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"730\" height=\"707\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 730px) 100vw, 730px\" src=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-6.png\" alt=\"ViciBox Installer\" class=\"wp-image-2398\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-6.png 730w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-6-600x581.png 600w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-6-300x291.png 300w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-6-500x484.png 500w\" \/><figcaption>vicibox-install<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Repeat this process on each server and then move on to step 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2 &#8211; Turn off services not needed on each server role<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now we need to disable services not needed on each server to save on resources, but this way they are there if they are needed in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>DB Server: systemctl disable apache2;systemctl disable asterisk<\/li><li>Web Server: systemctl disable mysql;systemctl disable asterisk<\/li><li>Asterisk Servers: systemctl disable mysql<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to leave apache running on the asterisk servers so we can <a href=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/how-to-install-a-webphone-viciphone-on-your-vicidial-server\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"How to \u2013 install a webphone\/viciphone on your Vicidial server\">install webrtc for webphones<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 &#8211; Run the install.pl script on each server<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now we want to link them all together by running the install.pl script located in the source directory for vicidial, follow the following commands to get to and run it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>cd \/usr\/src\/astguiclient\/trunk\nperl install.pl<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Now follow the prompt and answer them accordingly. The pictures below will show the choices needed for each server role except make sure you set the IP for the DB server on all the rest instead of localhost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">DB Server and Web Server<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"706\" height=\"702\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 706px) 100vw, 706px\" src=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2399\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-7.png 706w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-7-100x100.png 100w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-7-600x597.png 600w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-7-300x298.png 300w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-7-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-7-500x497.png 500w\" \/><figcaption>DB Server<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">For the web server make sure you put the DB server IP instead of localhost<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Asterisk Servers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"705\" height=\"572\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 705px) 100vw, 705px\" src=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-8.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2400\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-8.png 705w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-8-600x487.png 600w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-8-300x243.png 300w, https:\/\/dialer.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-8-500x406.png 500w\" \/><figcaption>Only use 5 and 7 on ONE asterisk server, not all, the rest put 123468<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure you only put 5 and 7 keepalives on one asterisk server, the rest you should only choose 123468. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4 &#8211;
