CyburDial – How do I use my dialer?

Have you have purchased one of our cloud based dialer systems and are unsure what to do now? No problem, this tutorial will get you started with the basics and our tech support is more than willing to help you along the way with any questions you may have. Most of the pictures will bring you to where you go along the process so you try it as you go.


Step 1 – READ THE MANUAL!

The first thing you want to do is read the managers manual in your client portal to get acquainted with how to use the functions in our system. It is 100% customizable to anything you could possibly need to do with your dialer such as Press 1 campaigns, IVR(Intelligent Voice Response), call menu’s, and so much more.

Step 2 – Change your password

Next thing you want to do is login to your admin screen to change your password.

Click “Admin Login”
Type your admin ID and password
Type your new password(Use Upper and lowercase letters as well as numbers and symbols)

Step 3 – Add Your IP

Once you have changed your password, it will ask you to re-login using the new login credentials and then, let’s get you dialing. The first thing we need to do is to add your IP to the White List in order to be granted access to the system firewall for you and your employees. There is two ways this can be accomplished. The first one is to add it to the list yourself:

Click “Admin” and then “IP Lists”
Add your IP’s one per line

The second way of adding your IP the allow list, is to use our dynamic portal that allows you or your employees to add themselves to the firewall. This is accomplished by clicking the “User Validation” button.

Click the “User Validation” button
Type your user ID and password and hit “Submit”

Step 4 – Load your data

The next thing you need to do is load the data you want to call. Follow the steps below to add your data:

Click “Lists” then “Add A New List”
Follow the instructions on how to fill out each field by clicking the “?” buttons

These “?” (help buttons) can be found throughout the dialer and are very useful

You need to at least choose the options that the red stars are marking. Click “Choose File”, then browse to a file. The dialer accepts most file formats.(xlxs, csv, tab delimited text, and more). Next choose the “List ID” you want to load the leads into(the one you just created for the purposes of this tutorial), followed by “Phone Code”(Choose Country code) and then select the “Custom layout” radio button. The rest are optional depending on your needs and the help buttons will explain how to use them.
Map your fields according to the data structure of the file you are uploading
Be patient as your data is being uploaded and that’s it, you are now ready to start dialing!

Step 5 – Login as an agent to start taking calls

Go back into your client portal and click the “Agent Login” button

Click the “Agent Login” button
Type one of the Phone Login and passwords provided to you in your welcome email.
1. Type your “User ID and password(Also provided in your welcome email)
2. Choose your campaign that was set up for you along with your dialer purchase
3. Choose what language you want your interface to be in
Be patient as your dialer loads and make sure you hear the prompt
Select your ingroup(“Inbound” for the DID that comes with your initial setup)
Click “Submit”
Make sure you’re phone says “Incall” and that you hear the “Login Prompt” (You are the only one in this conference)
Click “Unpause”

That is it. Your initial setup is now complete and you are ready to start making money. A few key things to remember:

  • Always make sure you hear the welcome prompt
  • Make sure the web phone says “Incall”
  • If either of those is wrong, then go back to the user validation or add your IP to the whitelist
